What audio source do you like to play to help set the mood for bedtime?
Music?
Movie?
Book?
Sometimes I want some noise for bed and sometimes I don't.
I like to play some soft music in the background when I am trying to fall asleep or a movie/show I have watched multiple times that I no longer have to pay attention to it; some background noise. The choices could vary from classical to lofi. I could also listen to solo instruments too like piano, guitar or cello. I feel like metal and rock hit different when I'm super tired; when I am existing on a lower energy level. But I usually play them during the day and not when it is bedtime.
I usually like my music to at a soft volume but I have fallen asleep to louder music/tv before. One reason I don't like movies/shows/podcasts on, loud music or lyrical music is because I feel like I would end of focusing on them rather than sleeping. But at the same time, if I'm tired enough I usually fall asleep anyways. I rather increase my chances by keeping the music low. I heard of putting on podcasts of intellectual property while you sleep or even when a mother is expecting will help make you/baby smarter but I am not knowledgeable on this topic.
One should also be careful not to build a dependency on putting on noise in order to fall asleep.
